HIGH-TEMPERATURE ENGINE SPRAY PRIMER

High-temperature spray primer designed for painting engines, brake calipers, and any metal, alloy, or plastic part.

It provides high resistance to the paint applied over it and offers excellent anti-corrosion properties for metals and lightweight alloys.

This product is easy to apply and is mandatory to use before applying any engine or brake caliper paint.

It is particularly recommended as a base for fluorescent colors, which only activate on a white background.

This primer is suitable for all metals and common alloys, except magnesium alloys.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

• Always wear latex gloves to avoid direct contact between bare hands and the metal.

1. Thoroughly degrease the parts using our Aeronautical Degreaser.
2. Do not use other degreasers.
3. Shake the spray can or liquid primer bottle well, apply a light coat, and wait 10 minutes.
4. Apply a heavier coat and wait 30 minutes.
5. After 30 minutes at room temperature, you can apply any Kustomservice paint without sanding the primer.
6. If more than one hour passes before applying the paint, the primer must be sanded using 3M grey Scotch-Brite.
   
   

   IMPORTANT

   The success of a good job depends entirely on the preparation and cleaning of the components. Therefore, focus on preparation rather than painting itself. The smoother and cleaner the surface, the better the final result.
